Truly enjoyed the place, it was very peaceful and worked for me. The most important was the staff - attentive and decent people. The superior room I stayed in was very well decorated and well-equipped with a nice firm bed.
It had a little hard beds, maybe it was bad luck.

Booked it for 2 days and had a fine experience. There was a wide range of outstanding meals. The hotel was in a stunning and excellent location, on the esplanade.

We thoroughly enjoyed the place and its well-stocked breakfast.
Location: the hotel was right by a beach in Galapinhos, which was close to Palmela, the castle and converted monastery, and Moorish tower and later Christian monastery.

Staying in an ancient castle was an amazing experience! The room was very spacious, and the view was fine. The dinner on-site was delicious, and we even got a discount by joining the Pestana Hotel Group. The staff was warm and cute. I'd definitely recommend this place 😍

Can't recommend highly enough for a brief weekend stay.
Comfortable room, convenient amenities, and a picturesque view of the surrounding landscape made my stay nice, complementing the good breakfast offering that included various delicious options and a bar/lounge area perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration.

I faced some inconveniences . The limited dinner options left me wanting more, and the need for better maintenance was evident, as some areas showed wear and tear. It was also disappointing that the terrace with a view was closed, challenging to enjoy the landscape. The Wi-Fi service was inconsistent too.
